Lal Kitab (the "Red Book") is a 20th-century school of astrology compiled by Pandit Roop Chand Joshi between 1939 and 1952. It reads your ordinary birth chart through a different lens, judging each planet by the house it sits in rather than by sign. The result is a separate, parallel reading called your Teva.
It is best known for simple, low-cost remedies (upay) in place of gemstones: everyday acts like offering water, feeding animals or donating grain. We follow that tradition faithfully and never sell stones for Lal Kitab.
Lal Kitab also describes nine Rin, karmic responsibilities settled through conduct and charity, never read as a curse. Nothing it says is a certainty: a weak placement is simply an area to strengthen, and in Lal Kitab it is usually the most fixable thing in the chart.
