Jaimini is a parallel system of Vedic astrology attributed to the sage Jaimini, a student of Maharishi Parashara. Where the familiar Parashari system reads planets through houses and the Vimshottari dasha, Jaimini works through the chara karakas (movable significators), sign-based aspects (rasi drishti), the arudha (perceived image), and rasi dashas (sign-ruled time periods).
This hub gathers the whole Jaimini toolkit in one place: your karakas, karakamsa and ishta-devata, arudha padas, argala, Jaimini raja yogas, and the Narayana rasi dasha — each computed from the NASA/JPL ephemeris as the classical reading, with the few points where the lineages genuinely differ flagged inline.
How to read this hub
Start with the Karakas tab. It ranks your planets by degree to reveal the Atmakaraka (your soul's significator) down to the Darakaraka (spouse). Almost every other Jaimini technique builds on these.
We default to the classical consensus — the reading the major lineages (Sanjay Rath, P.V.R. Narasimha Rao, K.N. Rao) agree on, which is most of what you see. They diverge on only a handful of rules; wherever they do, a small 'where the lineages differ' note shows the alternative and who holds it, so you see the difference exactly where it exists and nowhere else.
